Oceans apart, Milou Neelen and Anna Pihan first discovered each other’s work on Instagram, drawn to the distinct creativity in Anna’s photography and Milou’s illustrations. Admiring each other's perspectives, they began collecting prints from one another’s collections, sparking a connection that would grow into something more.
With a shared passion for travel, hotels, and the pursuit of dreams, it was during the pause of 2020 that Milou and Anna set sail to create their world of leisure together—an archive of photographs and a shared vision that blossomed into The Pleasure of Leisure.
Inspired by the effortless Mediterranean way of life while on the island of Ischia, the name The Pleasure of Leisure sailed into Anna's daydream under a sun-faded umbrella, on a hot summers' day.
